The CLIFF House

The Cliff House project focuses on a full refurbishment to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability. Key improvements include the installation of an air-sourced heat pump and solar panels, replacing the existing heating system to reduce environmental impact. Internally, the entire house has been reimagined to meet the specific needs of the clients, with every space redesigned to reflect their personal style.

The sustainability efforts in the Cliff House project are centered around enhancing energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact. To achieve this, the home has also been upgraded with new insulation and high-performance windows, improving thermal retention and reducing energy consumption.

Internally, the layout has been carefully reconfigured to create a space that is both functional and comfortable, with updated bathrooms, bedrooms, living-room, a new kitchen, and a dedicated therapy room. The design focuses on creating a sense of home, with every detail thoughtfully chosen to enhance the living experience.

Special attention has been given to accommodating the needs of the young girl with a disability, ensuring a fully accessible and supportive living environment. Hoisting systems have been integrated into the bedroom, bathroom, and therapy room to provide safe and seamless mobility. A dedicated carer’s area with its own kitchen has been created, allowing caregivers to work independently without disrupting the family’s primary kitchen.

Finally, both the front and rear entrances have been reimagined to provide wheelchair accessibility. At the rear, two sets of bi-fold doors were added, creating a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
