Natalie Cleeves is an Assistant Building Surveyor and is on the pathway to become MRICS with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

After school education, Natalie attended the University of Kent, obtaining a BA degree with honours in Sociology in 2007. She started her career working in real estate in London gaining a variety of experience in property maintenance, property management and commercial and residential sales and lettings. She did this until she obtained a Master of Science degree with Distinction in Building Surveying from Kingston University in 2014.

Natalie firstly gained experience as an Assistant Maintenance Surveyor and specialised in carrying out stock condition surveys whilst overseeing the maintenance and refurbishment of housing stock within a Housing Association. She was particularly involved in the specification and implementation of more sustainable options across the housing stock and improving overall housing standards.

She has also worked for a multi-disciplinary surveying practice and was predominantly managing new build housing schemes for housing associations and increasing the affordable housing stock across London and in the south east. Natalie developed her expertise in contract administration and construction through this and has worked with both private clients, housing associations and local authorities.

Natalie has worked on a variety of refurbishment, repair and maintenance works overseeing the renovation of period properties and Listed Buildings. More recently she has focussed on party wall professional services, reinstatement valuations and overseeing external maintenance works. Natalie is constantly adding to her continued professional development by attending seminars, gaining experience in building pathology and is more recently gaining expertise in Party Wall issues.

Natalie has two young children who keep her busy when she is not in the office! When not working, she spends most of her time with her family. Natalie particularly enjoys a variety of sports, taking trips to the local beach, exploring the South Downs National Park and family holidays to Devon.
